Q: How long does it take for paper straws to decompost?

A: Unlike plastic straws, paper straws are made from natural cellulose fiber which can easily decompost. The actual compost time may vary due to different humidity, temperature and microorganism in the disposal environments. It may range from 60 days to 180 days. 

Q: Can I print my company logo on the paper straws?

A: Yes, custom print is available on all of our paper straw range. 

Q: Can I make custom size paper straws?

A: Yes. Usually, the diameters are somewhat fixed. You can choose from our standard diameters. We can make the paper straw length tailoring to your needs. 

Q: Can you do retail packaging for our paper straw brands?

A: Yes, we’ve successfully helped many customers launched their own retail brands for paper straws. We can make the retail packaging according to your needs.

Q: Are paper straws really better for the environment?

A: Plastic straws will last in the environment for hundreds of years. When plastic straws enter the ocean through waterways, it will pose a serious danger to marine organism. Worse still, they may break into microplastics and eventually pollute our food chain. 

Paper straws can easily decompost in short time. Its end products are water, dioxide, and non-toxic biomass that can be used as nutrient to support plant growth. Even if them end up in ocean accidentally, they will be soaked and become soft. Not really a danger to marine lives. Its raw material natural cellulose fiber will gradually decompost in ocean. If handled properly, it won’t cause environmental pollution or cause danger to marine mammals.

Q: What’s your MOQ and lead time?

A: Our MOQ for sugarcane bagasse products is 50,000pcs/item/design. Lower MOQ negotiable. 

  The lead time is about 15-30 days after the order confirmed and the deposit payment received.

Q: What’s the payment term?

A: Our standard payment term is T/T, 30% deposit + 70% balance against the copy of B/L. Other payment terms negotiable.
